San Francisco employee matching software company donates 20,000 licenses to combat loneliness in the workplace

Between March and September of this year, LEAD has donated more than 10,000 free licenses to companies of all sizes, such as Money Hub, Zwift, Pure Insurance, The BBC, Hootsuite, and Livery. Given the high demand and continuous challenges most US companies are currently facing, LEAD has decided to add 10,000 more licenses to companies in need.

Loneliness has life-threatening consequences no less harmful than smoking, obesity, or inactivity to the extreme that researchers nowadays refer to it as an epidemic. The most effective way to battle loneliness and its detrimental consequences is by connecting people with each other. As a company that builds smart matching tools to allow employees to communicate with each other, we enable HR to recognize the implications of isolation and loneliness, and regularly check in with your people, not only about their productivity but also to see how they are doing.

With this realization, we decided to serve our communities during this trying time, and offer our peer matching software, LEAD for free for companies that want to facilitate virtual meet-ups for their employees.

If your company would like to pair people up to address the isolation, loneliness, and lack of peer to peer interaction problem, LEAD offers its software solution as well as common social program practice advice to help you manage the initiative in a meaningful way, so your people can not just keep connected, but also learn from each other and built the most brilliant and supportive teams possible.
